New Work / Classics & I Love the 80's

We shot for two days in a roller rink to capture the campy world of skating in the 80’s and 90’s.  We chose to shoot Super16mm for Classics to get that retro look.  You can’t beat 16 for ease and portability. 

For 'I love the 80's' we had a quick little shoot while setting up for Classics,  it was great shooting both jobs at the same location.  We then spent a few weeks in post turning 'I love the 80's'  into something it wasn't originally intended to be, a title sequence of sorts featuring artists from the game.  So we reconcepted after the shoot with an illustration approach inspired by several graphic artists of the 80's that would provide us the ability and context to weave a title sequence.  This time around, unexpected change was an oportunity to improve.
