LOADED | MAGNETOSPHERE

Loaded loves science. Especially space science. So when one of our freelancers came to us with this idea, we didn't flinch.

Before we created a frame of animation we headed back to the classroom and went straight to Toby Smith at the University of Washington's Astronomy Department to verify the script and get a better sense of what the Magnetosphere is and does. Needless to say, he schooled us on the finer details. Without the dynamo effect of Earth's iron core and fast rotation deflecting the sun's harmful radiation, life as we know it wouldn't be possible!

Driven forward in a visual lecture, and built from the ground up, our designers aimed for a style reminiscent of early 60s textbooks.
