With 20+ years combined experience in the industry as directors, designers, animators, and lead creatives, HELICAL spawned out of a desire to explore more diverse projects. It is now the directing label stamped upon the collaborative output of directors Thai M. Tran and Carlos Cruz. Drawing inspiration from multi-cultural upbringings, the duo work together to push their imaginations and story-telling abilities further than each one ever could alone. Able to traverse a spectrum from cinematic form to design-centric animation and all the subtlety in between, HELICAL is fluent in many languages of creativity to help build story and define voice.
